Outdoor Audio does one thing: sound for the spaces outside the house. The garden, the pool deck, the alfresco kitchen and the patch of lawn where the cricket happens. They deserve the same care as the lounge room.
Why outdoors is different
No walls, all weather
Indoors, walls and ceilings hold sound in and reinforce the bass. Outside there is nothing to help: sound spreads, thins out and drifts over the fence. Crank one pair of speakers loud enough to reach the far end of the yard and the people beside them get blasted.
The answer is more, smaller voices: satellites spread through the garden at a comfortable level, each aimed at where people sit, with a subwoofer tucked into the ground to put back the weight open air takes away. Every piece has to live outside all year, through sun, storms and sprinklers.

What we sell
A short range, chosen on purpose
We would rather sell four products that work together than forty that might. The landscape speakers and buried subwoofer come from Definitive Technology’s Dymension Outdoor series, built specifically for gardens. The amplifier is the Denon Home Amp, from a company that has been making audio equipment for over a century.
Each piece earns its place the same way: it is rated for the weather, it disappears into the landscape, and it works with the others so a single amplifier can run a whole garden.
